The fishing in Courtmacsherry has been very good the last week with good sharking ,fish to 2,45m tagged and released,conger to 35 lbs,Ling to 23lbs from the inshore wrecks caught by Wlodek Wroblewski from Poland , which are fishing very well at the moment with 35 ling recorded in one session.

Pollack are feeding well with  several fish to 11lbs ,Good bull huss to 13 lbs,the Bass fishing was superb with 36 fish landed and released in one 3 hr session by Kieren Kelleher,Fish over 10lbs recorded from The Pier with live Bait,12lb fish from Ring and a fine fish of 11lbs from Harbour View,an angler I met last friday reported that he caught 2 bream off the Woodpoint with crab.

Heading back to the pier last Monday I counted 30 anglers enjoying the fishing from the shore,its great to see such a nutural resource being enjoyed.(see Gallery)
